Current areas of work and partners

Below are our current policy priorities

• Age assessment work -scope current practice and develop model for LAs. Commissioned by UKBA
• Scoping Report and recommendations - Violence Against Women in asylum, refugee and migrant communities (Refugee Inclusion Strategy)
• Chair NRPF network - link in to UK No Recourse to Public Funds network and develop capacity on NRPF
• Provide Independent forum for scrutiny and accountability of the new asylum accommodation contracts (UKBA/stakeholders)
• Developing Migration Statistics and produce Wales migration profile- working with Welsh Government, WLGA and Local Government Data Unit to produce detailed statistics on migration in Wales
